Consisting solely of what has always been California, this pseudo-socialist nation is considered a haven for the artistic and intellectual elite, and appears to be a proponent of liberal values. And while their economy is in direct competition with the Pacific Commonwealth, so far hostilities between the two have not yet fully emerged. The People's Republic of California also still manages to be a source of entertainment, movies continuing to be made in Hollywood, and finding a decent market outside their borders.
